Corporate purpose
Mapletree Industrial Trust (MIT) ist ein an der Hauptbörse der Singapore Exchange notierter Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). Sein vorrangiges Ziel ist der strategische Erwerb und die Verwaltung eines diversifizierten Portfolios einkommensgenerierender Immobilien. Dazu gehören vorwiegend in Singapur ansässige Industrieimmobilien sowie Rechenzentren in Nordamerika und weiteren globalen Standorten außerhalb Singapurs. Der Trust hält auch verschiedene immobilienbezogene Vermögenswerte. Zum 30. September 2020 beliefen sich die verwalteten Gesamtvermögenswerte von MIT auf 6,6 Milliarden Singapur-Dollar. Dieses beträchtliche Portfolio umfasste 84 Immobilien in Singapur und weitere 27 Immobilien in Nordamerika. 13 dieser nordamerikanischen Vermögenswerte sind Rechenzentren, die über ein Joint Venture mit Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd gehalten werden. MITs Immobilienbestand erstreckt sich über eine breite Palette industrieller Typen, darunter Rechenzentren, Hochtechnologiegebäude, Büroparks, Flachfabriken, Stack-up/Ramp-up-Gebäude und Leichtindustriegebäude. Das operative Management von MIT obliegt der Mapletree Industrial Trust Management Ltd., mit Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd als Sponsor.
